Bun-Fil-A Nuggets
Tender marinated rabbit pieces, breaded in seasoned flour and fried to golden perfection for a juicy, subtly gamey take on the beloved chicken nugget.

Cut the rabbit into chunks that are about an inch.

Soak the rabbit in the pickle juice for two to four hours.

Mix the egg and milk together. Include about a quarter cup of the pickle juice.

Soak the rabbit in the milk mixture for about 30 minutes.

Combine all the dry ingredients in a blender and process until smooth then put it in a gallon plastic bag.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the rabbit from the milk mixture and drop in to the bag with the coating. Shake well to coat the nuggets evenly.

To air-fry:
Preheat to 390.
Lay the nuggets out in one layer in the air fry tray and spray lightly with oil.
Fry for 5 minutes then flip the nuggets.
Fry for 5 minutes then shake.
Fry for 5 more minutes.

To fry:
Heat about three inches of peanut oil in a heavy pan.
Fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain on a wire rack.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!
